The Best Zoom Makeup

We have all transitioned to working or studying online. Putting on a full face of makeup to sit in your office, or living room seems like a lot of work. When you have a meeting, you ideally want to look professional. Here is how to achieve the best zoom makeup!

Zoom makeup is essentially a no makeup – makeup look. This means it is minimal and natural looking. This No makeup- makeup look is becoming more and more popular as people are looking for that glass and glowing skin, without all the extra products.

SKIN PREP

Make sure your skin is hydrated and you are wearing sunscreen before you even apply any makeup. This will allow a better base for your products to sit on. As for sunscreen, I would recommend using a tinted one. This will allow your skin to remain looking skin like, while also providing you with some coverage.

 BASE

Now that you have your skin prepped. You can now move onto your face. If you are not using a tinted sunscreen for your face, you should apply either a tinted moisturizer or a lightweight natural finish foundation. This will be a more breathable formula and will allow your skin to look flawless while also looking natural. Now, I would normally cover any pimples or dark circles with your concealer of choice. Make sure you are just spot concealing and not putting too much product.

CHEEKS

Skip the contour and focus on creams. Cream products tend to look more natural on the skin. This is why I suggest using cream blush and highlight and skipping the intense contour. This will give your skin that glass and glowing look without looking powdery or as if you are wearing too much prodct. If you are on the oilier side, use a glowy powder blush and highlight to achieve this same look. NudeStix offers an amazing cream blush formula in so many shades. Click here to see my favourite one!

EYE

For your eyes, less is more, I would suggest using your bronzer as an eyeshadow. This will allow the look to be cohesive and mimic a natural look. Since it will be the same color as the bronzer you are using, it will appear seamless. In order to achieve the best no makeup- makeup look, I would suggest using a tinted brow gel on your eyebrows. This will give them a fluffy natural look while giving your brows some colour. In addition, I would also recommend using a lengthening mascara. This will give your lashes length and not too much volume. This will allow your lashes to seem naturally long and they will not be overpowering.

LIPS

As for lips, I would highly recommend using a balm, or lip oil. These are made to hydrate your lips and can also provide some colour. They are not long-lasting but are extremely comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.  Check out The LaNeige lip balms. They provide an insane amount of hydration while giving your lips a glass like look.

At the end of the day, makeup is a freedom of expression for a lot of people. These are just some tips to elevate your Zoom makeup look. Try these tips out on your next meeting and see how amazing you will look and feel!
